Hey guys,
My name is Mike. I've had a 89 tta sitting in my garage since 98, but I'm very new to the turbo buick stuff. My uncle purchased the car from ATR and then built it to what you see below before he passed away. I'm just now getting to the point of maintanence and trying to figure out what does what with this setup. Had the pleasure to meet Turboslacker a few years back, and he came by and checked it out and helped me with a few things. Thanks again Dan. Hope to meet some locals at Turbo Thunder this year.
Heres how she sits today minus the maf.

Well thats definitely not a stock turbo. Looks like stock injectors maybe? I dont care for the orange insulation but thats an opinion of course. Does it run good?

Does it run good?

No. It was difficult to get it started. It has an old accel dfi, but I don't know many familiar with it. I had Blood Enterprises get it running a couple of years ago, but to be safe its very rich. I believe the injectors are 51lb and the turbo is a t72. I say "believe" cause I'm in the learning stages here. Haven't had the time or the dough to really spend alot of time on it.

I recall it has a lot of go-fast parts many of which was designed and handcrafted by Mike's Uncle. One rare feature I saw was a liquid intercooler. I believe it ran 11's in its prime. This is a really clean and quick TTA.

Mike could sure use the help from some of our top local tuners to get the bugs worked out and get this TTA flyin' again. It's a shame to have this nice of turbo car sitting in the garage for many years. Let's rally around Mike and get him rolling and racing with us!

Mike, how about hosting a Saturday BBQ at your place or something and see if some of the guys would be willing to bring tuning gear and figure out what needs to be done?

BBQ idea would be great. I still need a little time to get all the basic maintanence stuff done. I'll trade steak for knowledge any day.

Gene, Ken, Dennis, Al, others...steak is calling your name...up for a "tuning party" ?
Now this is a cool way to have a turbobuick gathering and help out a fellow enthusiast!
