New ultra hi hp th400 input shaft and drum

Here are a few pics.This kit will require a stock pump cover fitted w/ a custom stator support tube in the works.Requires 35 spline stator converter.You can update any converter to this set up very reasonably.For ultra hi hp th400s and 2nd gear start th400.Propietary material,torsional shaft,oversize splines on both ends,precision press fit into trued bored and broached stock drum,heat treated and ground on centers.Designed for applications between 1500 and 2500 plus horsepower.Special thanks to Hutch and Mike Frabrizio for technical,engineering,and CNC programming assistance.Last foto shows a comparison between our Pro Mod shaft and the new design.

By the way,the drum in the foto has been been broached but not trued,it is a test piece to check splines before and after heat treat to settle on a finished minor od of the splines after ht.

I would assume that the converter needs to have a support bushing on since the upper input shaft bushing is no longer there ??
