New Valve Springs?

87 GN with 37k miles. Car has only been driven 5k miles in the last 6-7 years. So, it has been sitting alot. Will 100 lb springs be ok to put in with the stock cam? Any other suggestions of things I may need to look for while doing this install? Please help with some suggestions please. Thanks

87 GN 37k miles, 340 Walbro-hotwired, afpr, 160 stat, 8" K&N, 30\30 boost gauge, Knock gauge, Scanmaster 2.1, custom 93 chip with 20* timing, Poston Headers and crossover, THDP, ATR 2.5 SS exhaust, Bilsteins, rate springs, poly body mounts, GNX wheels.

I would suggest you do a search on the topic... There is *TONS* of archived info on this subject....

Most get the Comp Cams 980 springs and use with the internal spring that comes with them, or remove the internal spring and re-use the cups on the stock springs... while you are in there might as well do the valve stem seals....
