Guess I need those ported heads and cam now!!!

Geez The big three are really putting the pressure on us aren't they. Makes me wonder if the horspower bubble is going to burst soon. There is a report out there that Saudi Arabia has WAY overestimated their production figures and that they will be spent in 15 years. If this is the case, makes me think the focus in Detroit might shift. In the meantime wahooo.

Now, give us another Camaro GM and drop that puppy in there for under 35k!!

500 HP Vette really not where the problem lies. This car is to compete with the high $$ import market. This is a joy ride vehicle.

I would be more concerned about the full size trucks that drive around with empty beds and the gas hog SUV's where the real problem with oil consumption lies.

The best Vette yet.

But it will never run mid or high 11's with the stock rims and tires.
How are your going to 60'ft with 19" rear wheels?

Wonder how well the rear end is going to handle street slicks with all that power.

I think the 345s can help out in the traction department, im sure it still wont hook great, but thats a lot of tire even with no sidewall.

Like most of these new hot cars, if any show up where I race, they'll likely be 0.5 to 1.0 sec slower than advertised.

Cool car nonetheless though.:D

I know exactly what your talking about. WOT, 2nd gear... CRUNCH, WOT, 3rd gear... CRUNCH... and repeat.

I hope they beefed up the rear as a friend broke 2 C5 rears on et streets and the bottle. Not to mention how much the clutch can be abused before its fried...
