anybody ever heard of doing a mix of 50/50 with this 2 liquids, it would make for a lethal combination for the smc or the alky control kit. :D

If you need more power.. its easy... just crank that wastegate up a notch or two.

My pump will handle it.. tho I dont know bout your motor.. I mean you can easily make 650 flywheel with a 3.8 Buick motor given the rite boost, airflow, and tuning. Doesnt even have to be on race gas to do that.

So if you can make the power without adding a substance as nitromethane, why add it. If you had a motor that could handle 1000 HP, and you were at 650... then add NOS or nitro to get you that extra power. Else its very easy not having to add chemicals of that kind :)

Maybe in the case of a stock turbo motor?? maybe would allow to make bigger HP..

Me I have a nitrous kit in the garaje.. its not going on the motor. I already have exceeded the power limit of what I should be running through it..

Good luck.. post back results if you try it..

Nitro could possibly lean out the engine as well...it incorporates its own oxygen molecules (it's why it is SO lethal). Nitro is also MEGA corrosive...I have seen it eat through a magnesium pan spacer in a month...bad bad stuff....

but it'll make the engine cackle when it's runnin through it

Never had a problem with alcohol or Nitro. We were making dyno pulls a few months ago and were trying to obtain 900 rear wheel HP. We made 847 on alky and put a 6% nitro mix in, went a couple steps richer and got 902 HP to rear wheels. Some cool stuff let me tell you. A 50% mix is a lot !!! You better have the right stuff and a fuel pump from hell. Also a mag will be a must. We have a 7AL-3 right now, but we will be switching to a mag this summer. (The problem with Nitro is it is hard to keep lit) The more nitro you run, the more fuel you have to run. People say Nitro is corrosive but I have not had any problem with it. We left our engine sitting over the winter with fuel in it and it never corroded. I think the key to this is running lots of lube in your fuel, plus it is better for your cylinder walls.

Nitro not corrosive? I'll have to send you a pic...maybe it's just hard on magnesium.

Just a thought on the Mag you're thinking of switching to - put the money towards the MSD 10 system. We had a problem with the Mag we were running not having enough spark for the amount of fuel we were using...put on the MSD 10 system and WOW what a difference. Motor is alot more responsive, very tunable and I think the thing would ignite water (it'll shoot a spark about 6"+)

Like I said, lots of lube. Our blower is a mag case, no problem so far with it. I don't know what could be worse then letting your car sit over winter with fuel in it. When we pulled it apart, everything looked brand new. As far as the MSD 10 goes, I can buy 2 used but good condition mags for the price of 1 MSD 10. If the MSD 10 is so good, why do all the pro mod racers run Pro 44 mags? Another advantage of the mag is it will eliminate the need for batteries and an altenator which all add up to about 75 lbs.

Just relaying my experiences....It wasn't me who left the fuel in the car (another guys engine)
After being plagued with ignition problems all season we switched to the 10 and all ign problems are gone...nothing like being able to tune a timing MAP via PC...we only run a battery, no alt...the additional weight is a down side.

By the way, Do you happen to know anyone looking for a complete Arias Hemi(Hat to Pan)? We've got one for sale (or possible trade)

I'm not sure but, I think the ProMods can't use the 10 system (rules).
