no low end or very little

Okay I will try again. Seems the last couple of questions were never answered. Hopefully someone has a suggestion. We figured out the low rpm, needed to mess with fuel pressure for the chip we were using and the car pulls really well on top end. The issue now is it seems to take time to build on the low end. Doesn't have a crisp response. Anyone experience this and if so what did you find. It almost feels like a plugged exhaust or cat but we don't have a cat and the exhaust is an atr 3 inch. Really starting to grow very tired of this project not coming together. Is this common with the hot air, lacking on low end. Or motor is fresh and has a roller rocker set up 206/206 weber cam, running the ngk ur5 gapped at 33 , new plug wires. Have the v-3 intake which should help the issue of spool up. turbo is fresh a John craig 63, have atr down pipe. Nothing else I can think to mention. Any help as always would be appreciated.

running red armstrong chips this is with any of the three, the 93, 100, 0r 110 chip. We do adjust boost and pressure accordingly, but seems to have this off the line stumble.

one other thing we did change is we went from a 3600 shahl converter to a 2800 (that's what was in the car I'm borrowing from at this time) The chip was set up for the 3600 stahl , not sure if this could be the issue

A 63 is gonna be a dog with a 2800 stall.......even more noticeable with a bigger cam.


Red's chips tend to be richer on the bottom too.....and thats really not gonna help ya, with a miss-matched turbo/convertor.

this is true , the reds chips run rich and slow up some spool off the light, the stall is going to probably be a little small . I did hear that you should have your chip burnt for having a stall , 2800 -3600 or what ever you run . That part iam not sure but you can look into it.

With my 2800 stall and the ta54 my car spooled slow, you should be in it with the 2000 rpm stall that it has now, some times i dot think theres a turbo on the car.

Hopefully Swain gets that transmission going soon. I thought that might be the issue. The chip in it is for the 3600 stahl but at least we have it running and after you get it going about 25 mph and punch she goes like a raped ape. Otherwise I might be sending the hubbys 3400 stahl in for some refurbising and put that puppy in.
