i was driving my 84 gn to work this morning and on the highway i hit the gas and at about 70-75 the car started to sputter have no idea what it is help me please

Help us to help you by posting some scantool numbers, or SES codes.
Could be 100 things.

I'd start with some dry gas, checking the spark plugs /wires, air filter, fuel filter, vac lines, etc...
