No Second in TTA

I was having a slight flair and some slipping in second so I changed the fluid and filter. Drove fine to work and leaving I got on it a little (half throttle) and I got a pop in shifting to second. Since then the RPM's just go way up in first and it never shifts to second. Finally it will shift to third around 38 mph. Any ideas or is it time for a replacement? I have adjusted the TV several times and different ways. Also have checked the fluid as it is right on. All other gears seem fine but shifting seems a little varied. Thanks for any input in advance...

Sounds to me like the band lug started stretching (your slipping problem) then broke (the pop). Time to pull 'er out.

Thats what I thought. Guess I will drop the pan and see if there is any debris. Thanks...
