I finally had my first "work day" with my 85 GN I just bought. I changed the oil, pulled the gas tank, emptied the old gas out, put new spark plugs in, and shot oil down in the spark plug holes. The car cranks over, The fuel pump kicks on, but I am getting no spark. I tested the cam and crank sensor and they seem to work. I am starting to lean toward the ignition module. Is their a way I can test this? Wheres the best place to buy one? Would it be better to convert it to an 86-87 setup? Im not sure what to do.

Thanks,

Rob

It's possible it's the module. Fine out if your injectors are pulsing. Pull one injector plug off and insert a light bulb in the socket. I can't remember which type of bulb but one of the interior lights will plug into the injector plug. Have someone crank it over and see if the light flashes. If it has neither spark nor injector pulse this will narrow your search down. How did you test the cam and crank sensors?

I used the sticky in hot-air tech. If the injectors are not pulsing, what would that mean?

I tested the crank and cam sensors and they seem to be working fine. I tested the ignition module and its giving the proper voltages. Im kinda stumped. Maybe its a bad coil?
