i have a 84 ttype the car was running fine then it started stuttering like it didn't want to go.it wouldn't go over 45 and didn't have any boost.so put it on the computer and it said it needed oxygen sensor, iac, and ignition mod.i switch to the 86/87 ign mod ,coil, caspers wiring adapter and still no spark.checked all the fuses and put new crank sensor on it and still nothing.its getting power to the ign mod but not to the spark plugs.so could someone give me some suggestion on what i should check next and where can i get the ign mod checked.

If your adapter is correct--I would go to the "Sticky- Basic Hotair Info" at the top of the Hot air section and print the "No Start" page and start working through it...You may find the problem working through that list.

went through the no spark test yesterday not getting any voltage from the ecm A-B connector or the A11 connector but I am getting the correct voltage at the cam and crank sensor and the 12 volts on the blue wire atthe ign mod.what do I need to do now to see why not getting voltage at the ecm plug

I simple test I'd perform would be to temporarily hook back up the 84/85 ignition module and see if you have spark then. If you do then you've narrowed it down to the coil pack, module or harness.

Take the coil pack and module to orileys auto parts they have the correct adapters to check it. Bring the adapater for the 86 -87 stuff with you. We bought one from south eastern at bg. Put everything in place and the car would not start and no fire like you are talking about! Long story short it was the casper adapter to the coil pack ! Hope this helps you out! I still havent figured out what the problem is yet but I noticed when trying to crank the car the tach is not moving.what can cause that?

here we go today had the ign mod and coil checked at auto zone an both were good and as you can see in my earlier post the cam and crank sensors were ok too according to the voltage meter.but i'm not getting a reading from the ecm to the sensors.can someone please tell me what i need to do now

Sorry, I can't help much. I don't have much experience with this issue. I can only remember 3 times my car would not start and two of the three were completely my fault.

1) The battery was dead.
2) I unplugged the ECM from the battery and forgot to plug it back up.
3) I installed an Anti-Theft Extender chip and couldn't remember how to disarm it.
