Hello,
Can anyone help me with a small problem.....had the water pump changed on my '84 GN last week at the GM garage. Since that time, I have no tach, or turbo boost gauge. Only the first bar (orange) on the tach is lit, and nothing else lights up other than that. Turbo boost gauge is inoperative as well. I know there are alot of plug-ins around the coil pack area, which is just above the one side of the water pump. I have checked to see if they are all plugged in, and they seem to be. Anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!:)

There are 2 connectors behind the alternator. They almost look like they should be connected together. One is a green connector with 2 white wires and the other is a black connector. I bet the mechanic thought they should be plugged together. Just go under the hood and unconnect them. One is for the tach signal the other goes to the fuel pump relay.

EDIT: I just realized you have a hot air car. Not sure where those wires would be on that set up.

I found the two white wires with the green connector---it is under the coil pack. Nothing plugged into it, so I guess thats not the culprit. Any other ideas? I guess I should check my fuses.......
