yea stay safe mike. i talked to some friends in Connecticut and asked what did for prep "we bought charcoal for the grill, 2 cases of beer and some JD" they live maybe 100 yards from the coastline

thanks guys.... yes we are ok now. Thankfully the port of baltimore was close, so i was able to stay with my parents both today and yesterday. i really need to because the winds were blowing so hard that the house was shaking. i heard the local airport had 70mph gusts. anyway, we lost power this morning at 4am when a tree fell on the lines and blew the fuse and drop the line on to the street.
my parents have a generator to run the sump pump and other little things, which they needed for sure.. power came back on a couple hours later and cable was out for 24hrs.
