Normal engine idle for 87 GN

i run the Mobil 1 high mileage 10w-30 in my car.. it has more of the zinc and phosphorus than regular Mobil 1 and costs the same. a 5 quart jug is about $25 at Wal Mart.

Get a chip from turbotweak that will solve your problem most likely with the high idling and surging and cutting out when cold. I had a stock settings chip and mine did the very same thing as yours. Got a better stock setup chip from turbotweak problem solved no more dying out.

Would like to know what chip with settings did you go with? Was trying to keep the car stock but I see now that is going to be hard to do. Now that I switched to mobil 1 the valve covers are leaking lol!
