On the outside of it right ,I already tried to nos in the motor blew two head gaskets .
Do you really think it's a waste of time ,There wouldn't be a benefit to cooling the intercooler with it.Originally posted by Razor
My buddy Tom bought a sticker at the nats for his car, it reads
"Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD.. you know ya wanna hit it, but are afraid of the consequences"![]()
On a side note, nothing wrong spraying nitrous, as long as there is ample octane and your watching your tuneup like a hawk.
To spray outside the IC.. thats a waste of time.

Dont believe me. Take it to the track and find out for yourself. Easy. The experiment will cost ya a bottle. altho by the question you state, you need other areas attended to first. One is scantool and the other is octane.
Also.... start doing some reading.. lots and lots of reading through this board and familiriaze yourself with what and how. Taking out a set of HG's can be prevented if there is a knowledge base. And it takes time.
Your question of spraying NOS(nitrous) on the IC is ricey. And the answers given fringe on its ricey'ness.
It's not that i don't beleave you ,Im just looking for some advice.i know the car pulls harder when the intercooler is cold .I was just thinking if you keep the intercooler cold with the nitrous it would pull hard through the whole run.The only fuel I run is 100% C16 so detonation shouldn't be a problem I hope
I'll give you an example of proper use.. example..
"My car runs on C16 fuel at 28 PSI and after monitoring intake air temps I notice they are running at 170 degrees crossing the traps. Can I use nitrous to cool down the IC so that temperature is brought down?"
See the diff?

I hear what your saying ive had the car for awhile and have already had it in the 10's on slicks.Originally posted by Razor
ajt86, thanks.
Andy, guess the fact there is a 10 post count under your name, has a little to do with it.
Spend some time reading... it will start "clicking" in after a while. It took me like two months after I initially bought my TTA of reading a few hours a nite. The search feature is a tremendous asset.. And that way the questions dont come across.. well like a newb. And stay away from the "NAWZ"
until you have a handle on this type of car and its engine management. In other words.. if/when you get it to run low 12's high 11's.. then contemplate the experiments.

Yeah that sounds like a good ideaOriginally posted by Jicaju
Spray it with liquid nitrogen. That'll cool her down if it does'nt bust into a thousand pieces.![]()
