I would not take them if they are under 13 or so. It will scare them but it is fun.

There are haunted houses, shows, the normal rides and all of the old west town gets turned into a ghost town with scary people coming out of the smoke at you.

We are going this Sunday with the 2 kids and they are holding on to my arms for dear life but they like it.

Fantastic! It sounds like fun! I've always liked Nott's better than Disney Land or California Adventure, it seems like the lines are faster and you can have a glass of beer when you need a second wind with the kiddies! Thanks for your responses everyone!

Thanks for posting in the Southwestern Section and have fun with the kids.

I went once three years ago...yes, we enjoyed the scares and the costuming. However, we did NOT appreciate that seemingly freakin' gang member was there too; either that, or there was a whole stadium load of displaced Raider fans. I haven't been back since. If I ran the park, I would have implemented a rule: wear gang clothing = we kick your a$$ out and keep your admission money. JHC on a stick, it's a family amusement park, not a gang hangout.

Thats the norm for any amusement park. Just the way things are now a days. But I agree, keep that stuff in the "hood" its bad enough my kids deal with it at school, that why I put them in Mater Dei.

Very cool; I taught marching band at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana CA when I was in college-- great kids there!

My son played football there too. He plays for AWC here in Arizona now.
