I have an 87 gn new to ownership so forgive the basics of my questions. I tired to replace 2vaccuum line . I pulled out the old ones and can't seem to find where they both connect. I also attached a 2n d picture, as I was trying to find the other end of the vacuum, I noticed the female end of the wire harness just hanging. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Obviously the car is running rough.

The vac line goes to your boost solenoid on top of the valve cover if it is still stock. The female plug goes to the oil sending unit on the front of the block behind the turbo if you do not have a gauge in that location.

Not sure if that answers the question. I am looking to see where the end of the 2 lines go: I thought they went down under the turbo area. As for 2 nd part I ,m sorry what do u mean by gauge? If it remain un plugged will it cause any harm.
Again, thanks ....

Pic 1 one line connects to waste gate the other to turbo.
pic 2 Do you have a oil gauge inside car if so that remain unplugged. Wrap it with tape if thats the case

How do you control boost ? by factory solenoid or with an adjustable boost controller? Do you have the factory oil light or a real oil pressure gauge?

Take a pic of your passenger valve cover, if it is stock there will be a solenoid on top of the valve cover with a red plug

Also, check & see if you have oil residue in your throttle body & IC . if yes, I'd get rid of the factory breather which is mounted to the front of passenger side valve cover. get the K&N breather. Then clean the thrott body & IC out
