i took the GN to a track about 2 1/2 hours away from home to get some cooler weather to see if it would help. temps were still in the 80* range but it was a lot better then 95* 2 weekends ago. Right off the trailer, without any tuning the car went 9.99 at 139 with a 1.67 60ft..
Came back to the pits and let the car cool down for about a hour.. went back into the lanes to get a second run and try to better the time.. i didn't do any tuning changes or sway bar / air bags.. i did a little better burnout to see if it would help the 60ft.. well it pulled a 1.58 which was better but not great.. my norms are around 1.45's.. anyway she pulled 9.87 at 139
.
a vacuumm line came off on the top end which made the car fall on it's face
.
Thanks again for Billy Anderson for building me this kick a$$ motor 2 1/2 years ago. i think i have about over 200 runs on this motor in the mid to low 10's and its still kicking strong for a 109 block
