i took the GN to a track about 2 1/2 hours away from home to get some cooler weather to see if it would help. temps were still in the 80* range but it was a lot better then 95* 2 weekends ago. Right off the trailer, without any tuning the car went 9.99 at 139 with a 1.67 60ft..

Came back to the pits and let the car cool down for about a hour.. went back into the lanes to get a second run and try to better the time.. i didn't do any tuning changes or sway bar / air bags.. i did a little better burnout to see if it would help the 60ft.. well it pulled a 1.58 which was better but not great.. my norms are around 1.45's.. anyway she pulled 9.87 at 139 :).
a vacuumm line came off on the top end which made the car fall on it's face :(.

Thanks again for Billy Anderson for building me this kick a$$ motor 2 1/2 years ago. i think i have about over 200 runs on this motor in the mid to low 10's and its still kicking strong for a 109 block :)

wow congrats. we knew you were going to get it. it was only a matter of time. now just dont break it before the WCN

The Andersons are good people, Jr knows his stuff and congrats we know there is more et just with a better 60'.

like i stated... Billy built this motor over 2 1/2 years ago with quests of hitting only mid 10's safely.. we have almost 200 run at mid 10's at 26 to 30psi.. Plus i have about 500 street miles on it too..
we think with 1.40's 60fts it should pull 9.60's at 143mph.. we will see..

Congrats on the 9 sec slip, looking forward to seeing the video!:D

hey nordy can you email them to me. Boost231@hotmail.com stupid government wont let me view them. if you have to go out of your way its ok i will see them later.

well i backed up my 9.87 big time last night.. temps outside at the track was still HOT at around 90*..

right off the trailer she went 9.69 at 140, second run wasn't that good, but it was a 9.76 at 140.. 60fts are still of my avg of 1.45's...

60' time sucks Mike but that is ok, you have the power to get it done on the big end!! I wonder if the anti-roll is binding???

it's starting to get to hot out here to run at that night .. i'll adjust it a little bit and see what i can do at the local 1/8 track, which is more closer to the ocean and cooler temps..
