I bough my alky kit used. The nozzles were already installed in the up-pipe and we just swapped pipes, so I don't know the construction of the nozzles. I have never seen any of these unassembled. The kit is (was) an SMC dual setup. Am I going to have to remove them entirely to clean them, then re-install and seal them? Or does the nozzle pop out if you remove the elbow from the mount?

TIA

Disassemble and reassemble them the same way.

There are no screens on those nozzles. The back has a nut and internally there is a spring and diffuser disc.

5 minute job, unless you lose the spring.

The nozzles are held with a nut and washer on the inside of the pipe and sealed on the outside with JB Weld. Am I going to have to remove this part?

Any specific method of cleaning? Chemical?

Thanks!

UUhhhh.. JB Weld..

Your going to make a mess.

take pipe off and hit spray button. Watch the nozzles spray. If they look good. Leave it alone.
