I guess only a person who had to do this might know but does anyone know the proper size tap to run through the header for the O2 sensor? Thanks

No, it's a metric straight (not tapered pipe) thread.

M18-1.5.

Taps are expensive and somewhat hard to locate (except by mail order).

Your right on the thread size,
and Snap-On generally has em on board.

Fors uses that thread size (for plugs)so if you live on the wrong side of town, maybe a neighbor would have one....
Sorry souldn't help myself with the cheap shoot.

Guess I will have to check my tap tonight and see. I know I have one that I used in the past for this but thought it was an NPT. Metric huh:confused:
 
O2 thrds??

The thread chaser you can buy at the local NAPA, etc, for spark plugs works just fine to clean'm out!..:cool: :cool:
 
I checked mine tonight and they are correct, the metric tap is for the O2. The NPT tap I have is for the return line in the block.
