Odd brake rotor question - lightweight rotors?

Are some rotors out there lighter then others? Is it possible to get some aftermarket or rotors from another model that are lighter?

The car is 3100 lbs without driver and a 1/4 mile only car, so warpage and longevity are not as much of a concern as with a street car.

I have drilled and slotted on this TTA I just got .. they have to be lighter

It's rotating mass so reduced weight is more beneficial but even if you got cross-drilled and slotted rotors on on 4 corners, what will it save? One lb maybe?

I was looking at these from Powerslot, stainless steel brake and
www.brakewarehouse.com.

I have heard a number of people complain about cross-drilled rotors cracking, so I was going to get the slotted ones. Have not decided from where.

Dan - did you buy yours or did the car come with it?

They make some new ones now where the holes are elongated/chamferred to supposedly help the cracking. The real problem is on the street - the darn things get so hot and then cool down.

Isn't that always the way Dan? You talk about something, then go check it out and blamo!
