The other day I took my GN to work and on my way home, after I was pulled over by a sherriffs deputy:rolleyes: (got a warning:cool: ) I went to start her back up and it would turn over but not start! I was getting fuel so I know that wasn't the problem and I checked all the fuses. I unplugged my Scanmaster and it started right up!

Is it a bad thing to keep your scanmaster hooked up all the time? What would cause a no start like that? Would it be my Scanmaster? Its 2.1 btw.

I've had DirectScan burp and the car would run like ass. I've also had ScanMaster fail to turn on. Never had a running problem with it though. Sometimes inexplicable things happen. I'd hook it back up and drive around close to home to retest. Just reset your ECM and clear any potential codes first. You already know how to solve the problem if it dies again.
