I have a 98 Blazer 4x4 and my bro has a 98 Silverado. Mine has 50k and his has less than 40k.
Both our oil cooler lines are leaking. Per GM this is a common problem. Local dealership guy said.....
"Yeah, we see this on trucks with as few miles as 2k and almost always by 100k. Not much to do but replace the lines".
Well that is not a happy thought.
Here is my question -- is there a substitute to the GM lines that will just leak again?
Anyone else had this problem and used braided lines cut to a custom length?
