is it safe to cap/block off the oil cooler? or do i need to lope it toi bypass it?? can i run the car without a oil cooler? thanks!

Do a search, it's been debated plenty before. I personally wouldn't run a turbocharged vehicle without an oil cooler. Others say it's fine.
I think you have to loop it or remove the oil cooler plate behind the oil filter completely, don't just cap it.
