has anybody tried the k&n oil filters, or are there any comparison tests out there? thanks in advance, jim.

Everyone should check out this web page on oil filters. Some pretty interesting stuff. He didn't test a K&N, but it's worth a look.

man, that is an interesting page on the filters. I have always run fram double gaurd in my car Regal and Dakota, and occasionally the regular orange one. My girlfriend has a 1990 Mazda MX6 with 163,000 miles on it, it runs awesome, burns a little oil, and it ocasionally makes valve train noise on start up, gee could it be from the Fram filter I always use?
Well from now on it's AC Delco for all my vehicles.....
