oil leak-front cover

I need some help on an oil leak. It looks as though it's coming from the front seal. I removed the front cover and installed a new seal but I still get the leak. It's pretty bad. Above the crank its dry. Idling, I get no leak, but take the car out and run some boost, it's leaking when I return to the garage. Help is appreciated. thanks.

Maybe it the oil pump? Hard to guess. You could put some dye in the oil & check it with a black light to be sure.

You may have a crack somewhere. I have ran into 2 cracked covers over the years. One was cracked around the cover attaching hole that is back in the pocket above the oil pump. The other was cracked near the fuel pump block off plate.

Oil leak front cover

Any chance that the hidden pocketed bolt on the oil filter side of the front cover is in place. Don't ask me how I know!
