Is it me or do you need to remove the starter to get the oil pan off? Just looking at it tonight before I start it Sat. , it dosen't have the room like the GN has to slide it out.

Starter can stay. You need itty bitty fingers to gt the oil pan bolts over the x-member area.

Rotate the crank until throws on the 1,2 cylinders are up, this will give a little extra space. On mine I removed the motor mount bolts, and jacked the motor up to gain enough clearance to clear the flywheel.

Good luck.

Thanks, yeah I had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the engine to get the clearance. Took out the starter anyway and put in an extra mini starter I had:D

Then taking off the starter is a good thing.

Hope you used a cork oil pan gasket
