I was hoping someone had a part # for a oil screen pick up tube?
also anyone know if felpro or someone else makes a cork oil pan gasket??anyone here use silicone to seal your oil pan?

when you enter that part number on that website it says Description: Housing

is that correct??? it says nothing about oil pickup screen...reason i ask is because i need to get one too...does it come with a gasket as well?

If that one on partsamerica.com is actually a Melling oil pump pickup tube/screen, then stay away from it and get the correct GM part..#25505644 for the 86/7 GN/TRs...

The Melling part has a bad design flaw in my opinion...Under the metal strip that runs across the bottom of the screen in a hole of about 1/2" in diameter...If you ever have an debris get into your oil pan, it will suck it up and TRASH your oil pump or maybe worse...The OEM GM piece has a spring loaded valve that will open up only if your screen is all plugged up with junk whereas the Melling piece will just suck it up...I have already pulled two of the Melling screens apart and found the opening(hole) in them both...

Don't believe me??? Pull the metal strip off of a new one and check it yourself...
