This is a follow up to the discussion I started on plugging the oil by-pass valve....what do you think?

I have a hunch that I'm seeing too much pressure, but I'd like to hear a few opinions. To bring everyone up to date, the car has a high vol. oil pump, blocked by-pass and a relocation kit.

I don't think I have a problem with the by-pass...as of now, but I need to know if the pressure spring should be bumped down. I ran it around town for a little bit to get temps up, but I could get oil temp any higher than 150....unless I let it idle in the garage...then I can get it to 180.

I guess replacing the spring isn't hard at all, but if I don't need to, then obviously I'll save myself the time :)

Thanks,

Mark
