I just got one from auto zone. It's part of their tool loaner program. You pay $30 essentially buying it. When you're finished you return it and they refund you. You can keep it as long as you need. No extra charge.

Yes, a small block Chevy primer will work.

I had to modify the autozone primer to get it to work with my cordless drill, but works great. I will loan it to you if you want.
