oil pump

Getting ready for a build,all i can find in the parts books is a oil pump rebuild kit.Is this good enough?what about high volume high pressure pumps?Do i need to go through g.n. specific vendor?

You'll get allot of opinions on this. I like the HV pumps, some don't. Everyone has there reasons.
