Finally I'm putting my motor back together again I need to know what to do, I'm still guessing on the turbo since I found out that I can get a bigger turbo than the ta 33 for about the same price but not sure which turbo it is I will be going with the 204-214 speedpro cam after hearing all the good things about it I have ported my heads and intake even more. I read on here where someone said that with a similar setup to mine that mid 11's were posible I hope that wasn't a typo if this is possible I will be finding out within 2 month's I will have everything together. it has been 3 and a half years since I've felt the power.

It depends on what convertor you have. A TA49 will work great with a stock convertor but anything bigger will be kind of lazy. With your mods, a 61 wouldn't be a bad idea with a good 2,800-3,000 stall and 009 injectors.

Keep in mind a 49 can go mid 11s with a good combo. A 61 will get you there a little easier at the cost of a convertor.

Just another option, the new GT series turbos seem to be kicking a$$. Sounds like they make a ton of power and retain good spoolup. I wish I had the money to try one.

Out of curiosity, why are you swapping out your KB cam? The two cars I've driven with them ran very well.

I just saw the part where it has been 3 years. It's been that long for me too. Yesterday was the first time I've driven the car in that long. It was great to drive it again. I really forgot how fast that thing was.

yeah I wiped a lobe on that cam and then replaced with a poston cam that I have never even driven the car with but I must say that the kb cam made night and day difference , I have the converter covered I have a 2800 vigilante but the injectors I think are not goingto be enough I have 36lb blue tops who sells those turbos

I am going roller motor, with I think the TA 64, NO IC!!!, and a 3400 stall converter.... I hope 11's are easily reachable...My goal is 11.50's or better, but I cant afford anything right now...You think 3 years without the power is bad????

I bought my car in october of 2000....Trans blew october of 2000, motor found to be wiped out november 2000...Do the math!!!!

I MISS MY T TYPE!!!!!

I hate college too, but that is amost done, so finally, my car can be too!
