I'm in the market for selling my motor out of the GN.. it would be a complete long block with the parts stated below in my signature, minus the intake. This block was hand built by one of the BEST in the Grand National world "Billy Anderson", and nothing but the BEST parts went into it when being built. the motor has about 8 months on her and is not even been pushed to it's limits on tuning or boost. Most everyone here in this section has seen the car run and knows what she can do (see below for times). It has about 30 to 40 drag strip runs and about 200 street miles on it. This motor, with the right built 200R4 can be a AWESOME street set-up and all run all day long. This motor runs strong, there is not a single problem with it, start up she has a 90lbs of oil pressure and at hot it's pushes 30lbs. The motor is still in the car so that it can be heard.

PM me and i will go into more detail about the complete parts list and specs and price.

is it a stage?

109 block.. magnafluxed with all the goodies..

my new set-up will also be a 109 block.. i'm staying away from the money pit stage 2's..

so the only reason why i'm selling it is, i'm heading a different way with a new set of heads, more compression with a different crank & piston.. i could part it out and use this block, but why not try to sell it the way it sits due to the great numbers it has produced.

Here you go, more compression and new heads, just what you are looking for. J/K

No, but thanks anyway for the mention, Scott. I have sort of learned my lesson in that area. I am sure that if I wanted to spend the money & invest the time in a few trips down the 1/4, I could learn to enjoy it. I just wanted the glory of being the "dyno king" of the southwestern section for a while, but such glory is generally very short-lived anyway. I think that a TA-60 & alky will put me a little closer to my goal, and then from there I will be able to tell whether I really want a 12 flat car. Maybe heads & cam on top of that, we'll see. More than likely, Mike's (NordyRacer's) motor would be too much for me also. There is a price to pay when you want to get into a motor with the kind of HP a motor that "stepped up" produces.

Few details for Mikes engine:
-109 block 4.040 bore
-King Performance bearings, Speed Pro rings
-It has Champion GN1 R CNC ported heads
-T&D rockers, Comp Cams push rods
-RJC girdle
-3.550 stroke steel crank with 6.125 Eagle rods and 9.0:1 Ross Pistons
-ARP hardware throughout
-internally balanced
-custom grind Hyd Roller
-ported Hi Vol front cover
-Comp Cams lifters
-Cometic head gaskets

I am sure the list goes on but that is all I can remember right now! The engine is on a very conservative (longevity) tune and is a KILLER street combination. I have seen shortblocks on this very site priced in that range that dont compare!
