I saw this car the other day and thought I’d take a few pics. It appeared in pretty good shape minus the rear bumper fillers. I believe it read “Century” on the front fender,

76 or 77 Century... A body- same chassis as a Chevelle/Malibu... probably a 2 barrel 305 Chevy under the hood, and it's probably owned by the same blue haired old lady that bought it brand new..

Sorry Derrik, but it would have 1 of 3 possible engines in it. Most likely a Buick 350 but it's possible a 455 or 231 is under the hood. It looks to be in good shape and all original. It is a Century and there was also a Century Regal at that time if I remember right.;)

rockauto lists the 231 , 305 , and 350 as the only engines available in 77 coupes and sedans- the Olds 403 was available in wagons- and for 76 the 231 and 350 are the only engines listed..

not that it really matters all that much- but i'm bored at work and need to occupy the time..

Look up production numbers Derrik. 77 was the year GM decided to go with "corporate" engines and got sued over it.;) The only reason I know this is we bought a car in 77 and that was the reason my partents didn't buy GM for the first time in 20 years. And the 455 was an unofficial option that could be custom ordered through the dealer. Sadly that was in 76 since that was the last year of the big block.:(

I had a 74 350 c.i. and it was one of the best riding cars I've ever owned.
