No problem. The original story sounded a bit too good to be true however I don't doubt there is still some stuff kicking around in machine shops, garages, barns etc. down in the south.

Alex is a Super Stock racer and some of his parts used to belong to Tim Cole who works for Comp cams. There is another board member (Fast Freddie) with one of Tim's old motors too. The problem with most of the stuff he was running is that it was for a really high compression aspirated motor. I recall Alex saying they ran 15 to 1 compression. Most of the carb intakes, pistons cams etc. won't be useable in a turbo application. The blocks are pertty beat up too. The one with the pan rail cut off has 3 sleeves.

The few parts Alex has that could be useful are the TA forged crank he has and the K1 rods and maybe several sets of the Stage II heads as long as they have decent size chambers and the price is right. I think he told me some of them had chambers larger than 40cc's.

Keep looking you never know what you might find.
