one more time Idle problems

Ok I have stock injectors and the car is all stoick except for fuel pump, regulator, hotwire kit and a thrasher 92 chip I have set the Iac and the TPS and added a thrasher 92 and everything has got better but still problems. Sometime the car smells like it is running very rich do I need a new set of injectors or what do you guys think

Trashers like fuel pressure, think it was 45 line off.

How many screens do you have on your MAF or have you upgraded to the LT1 or LS1?

I have never touched the MAF but if that is what is causing this problem I will upgrade to a ls1

My Thrashers have tended to run a little rich at idle.

well sometimes my car runs great and other times it will run like crap when it builds boost and make a clattering noise like it is not getting enough fuel and when I start the car the idle will go way up and the come down but when i put it in gear it will die could my injectors be bad any help is appreciated

You could have a bad injector. You can pull them and send them to Chuck Leeper or another vendor to have them cleaned and flow checked.

You should have a 160º T-stat for that chip

What is your IAC and TPS set at?

IAC 42

The car was setting for 2 years before I got it and all I can think is one of the injectors might be bad I guess I will purchase some new ones and pick up a 160 T-stat

I just wanted to make sure that it could be an injector

If you plan on keeping the injectors go ahead and have them cleaned. If you are going to upgrade soon dont waste the money

If thats your iac count at idle, I would get it down to around 15-20 and see how that does. Of course you'll need to reset the tps after that. Good luck.
