2 months ago the front pump died in my transmisson - along with that it cracked the hub in my PTS 9/11"

Well I took the trans back to the builder and he built me a new pump and looked over everything - said it was a-okay. I sent the convertor back to Bruce to have it repaired.

Today I get motivated and put the trans back in was very disappointed that it didn't shift.

The dipstick says full and I put 9 quarts total in. I adjusted and then played with the tv cable thinking the valve way stuck and still no go. I even power braked it to see if that would on stick something and that didn't help (but the convertor sure did stall :D).

The trans feels like it has plenty of line pressure and it bangs from neutral to drive, and feel good going into reverse.

Could someone point me in the right direction. I'll be getting with my builder on Monday - that is "if" I can get ahold of him.

I'm thinking governor - but I'm not a trans guru.

Thanks
Jeremy

I think that his thinking that your thinking is thinking right :D

happened to me and found spring missing in gov.

Thanks Guy - The trans guy said the same. Governer or TV sticking. Guess I'll find out.

TV appears to be fine, and I changed the governor for the heck of it - still no upshifts.

Any other Ideas?

TIA
Jeremy

next thing to check...

would be the valves in the vb to make sure they are not stuck for any contamination. This did only start after the pump problem correct?

Yes this did start after the pump failed. I don't know if I want to tear that far into the transmisson - I'm not quite comfortable with them yet. I'll call my builder and see what he says, but I think its time to start going somewhere else.

Thanks
Jeremy
