Looks like we might get an official opening of Onondaga Dragway soon. I hope this passes!

Permit sought for reopening of drag-racing track in Onondaga Township

I have been following this on Yellow Bullet. I was born and raised a few miles from there in Eaton Rapids and used to hear lots of stories about that track "back in the day".

I hope the meeting went well. I heard there were a lot of people worried about the noise.

They sent the permit back to the planning commission. It seems as though the noise is the biggest complaint. Though, if you required mufflers I wouldn't think it would be much worse than all the Harleys that run around that area.
