Both the car and myself love the new chip.
Open loop at idle.
Can I still set the IAC at idle?
And are the BLMs at idle an accurate account of what's going on?
Also noticed that the TPS jumps from .40 (key on) to .42+ with the engine running.
It seems to idle differently at different times. One time smooth a silk, and the next time kinda loppety loppety (if that's a word)
None of this is a complaint. Car runs great.
My friend has a Vette. Let him drive the car yesterday. He still has a goofy grin on his face.

>>> extender extreme, which chip??

Open loop at idle.

>>> yes, target around 10-20 in gear

And are the BLMs at idle an accurate account of what's going on?

>>> no, the car is ignoring the O2 sensor so the blms lock

Also noticed that the TPS jumps from .40 (key on) to .42+ with the engine running.

>> probably normal with the TPS heading up, I would set it just a bit higher, too close to the .38 min.

>>> I have a similar problem, don't know why but sometimes the car drops OUT of open loop idle. open loop idle is pretty smooth even with the big 72 lb injectors (extender extreme), another thing I noticed is the BLM is 115 most of the time, but drops to 90 when the air temps and car is running 200 deg. still runs smoot.

very rich idle though, I need to get a wide band on her!!

good luck with the new combo

Thanks for the reply, rkreigh.
Wondering how you know you're rich if the blms lock.
02 counts?
My blms lock at 125 at idle after driving. Should they be 128?
Also thought it was interesting that my TPS (key on but engine not running) read .42 on TLink. After installing the new ScanMaster they read .46.
I might have missed it somewhere in the directions, but with the ScanMaster, but how do you know whether or not you're in open or closed loop?
TT chip.
Thanks again.

Decimal point for retard value blinks when in open loop ( at least on whatever version I have ). Should probably go to open when you drop down to idle as controlled by your chip

Scanmaster instructions

another way you can tell you are in open loop is the 02 values don't vary much. they hover up around 700 to 800

also the blm doesn't vary.

125 is fine, the target is 128 but as long as you are within the ball park plus or minus 8, you are doing pretty good. 125 is fine.

you need to get the firmware updates for scan master to get the blinking retard dot I believe.
