I'm looking at a Pioneer DEH-P6400 for my car. Any thoughts on this paticular CD player?

Have you thought about going with a shuttle?
That's what I did. I also replaced all 6 speakers to Infinities,
200 Watt alpine bridgable amp.
If you have the concert sound that has built in EQ it works
quite well.

It has some nice features like:
1) An IP-bus system that you can interface with changers, voice command controls, and TV tuners.
2) XM radio ready.
3) Compatable with digital audio CD-Rs.
