They don't make a replica Goodyear Eagle GT.The size would be P215/65R15.They discontinued them about 10 years ago.The closest OEM style equivalent to this tire is the Goodyear Eagle GTII. Discontinued over a year and a half ago.I just managed thru hours of searching the internet to find a few of these tires locally.I bought them up.These are the correct Raised outlined white lettered tires my car came with.I consider myself extremely lucky to have found these.Sure the Goodyear tires suck. But for my showcar they were a must have.As soon as spring comes baby gets a new pair of shoes.

Yup, what badbuick said, I could only find Eagle GTII in solid white letters and now certain sizes are drying up.

There are only a few options in outline white letters (Yokohama's, etc...). I wanted white letters because my GN had the correct code for the white letter tires.

turbo Buicks came with blackwalls is the only different but yes they are hard to find if at all. No one yet had reproduced them but I'm sure in time someone will. Try Brian at Gbodyparts.com

I am aware the turbo buicks came standard with the QYZ blackwall P215/65RX15 tire, but you had the option in 1987 to order the QYH P215/65RX15 SBR W/Lettered option which my original owner did. My SPID trunk label has the the QYH option, and when I did a history report through GM vintage services, the report stated that my car came equipped with the QYH option. That's why I put such an effort into finding a tire as close to the original as possible.

Exactly what Bad Buick said, I have the QYH White Letter option too, thats why I run my car with the white letters, contrary to most GN owners choice of blackwalls. I like the white letters anyway, reminds me of the old school musclecars.

I was at a car show earlier last year, and a guy approached me and asked if I wanted to buy his original Goodyear Eagle GT 500km tires. He bought a 87 GN brand new back in 87 and didnt like the way the tires handled. He bought new tires and carefully packed the originals away.He had bought a 63 split window Vette and needed a set of tires so he mounted them on the Vette he brought to the show.I had a look at them and they were perfect.I asked him what he wanted for them and he said $300.I took his card and said I would think about it.Duh!I later threw out his card. What was I thinking!!!!I have tried to track this guy down with no luck.I am going to go to that same show this year and try to find him.Maybe he hasnt sold them.I have learned a valuable lesson. When you find hard to get items for your Turbo Buick, grab them.Parts are getting harder and harder to find these days.I recently saw a set of 5000 mile Goodyear Eagle GT tires on Ebay for the "buy it now " price of $1999!
