otc 2000 questions

just got otc 2000 is there a mode that shows knock counts i can only get the mode that says (yes or no) and when i plug in and set it up soon as i enter data stream the idle goes up to 1000 does anyone know why it does that thanks in advance

I haven't used the OTC2000 in a long time but I believe you have to put it in "road test mode" to read knock retard. Look at your manual. I think it's F1-4 then press 9 now scroll to the knock retard mode I think it's mode 50

On the OTC I'm using there are 2 knock retard functions.
I don't remember both numbers but the one I use is Mode 50.
This gives a number in the yellow (secondary) and not a yes or no.
