hello people; I know as someone here told me that the OTC scantool is a dinasaur but are there any people still using it? The OTC 4000 that is.

i have one if you want one, i used it for years, complete on case, i now use a scan master and egt, its works for me.

I use to use a EG gage when I did the go Karts and it was useful as when you started leaning it out going down the straight at NHIS. Actually is was leaning it in other areas also.

I have a old snap-on brick that I use primarily, it gives me the exact information that a new snap-on MODIS ($7000+) can. They are way bigger and clunkier than a SM though.

Not going to promote the OTC but none the less it's still a scantool.

Haven't had any issues with the relic... I am running 93/Alky. Any questions shoot me a pm.

Yes and you can mount the Scanmaster right on the dash so you can monitor knock.
