Ok, well, I am waiting on an engine, and im not sure if i can get the stock trans with it. If i cant get the stock trans, what is my next best bet, or even better than the stock trans.

Transmissions talk to me is like reading Shakespear to a baby...huh??? I am completely clueless. Can you be a bit more spacific?(i hope that doesnt sound rude, because it wasnt meant to) Im putting a 87 GNX engine into my 1984 RX7, and if reliability is a problem with the stock trans, i definatly want to go with something that will cost less money in the long run. Any spacific option would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I appreciate it.

Especially with the engine stock or a few mods, the stock trans(being fresh) with a good shift improver wil be more than adequate.Especially seeing its going it a light car.
