Outdoor vehicle storage needed- Any around SD?

Well, like the title says I am looking for somewhere to store a car. And, no it is NOT the GN! I may be buying a beater as a driver for when I get back from being underway. I may not have time to get it running before I leave so I may need to store it until I get back. I know back home in KS they had RV/boat/car storage places for pretty cheap. Of course, back home my dad has 5 acres so I never needed it. Anyone know of any such place in the SD area? Anyone have acreage where I could stash it? :biggrin:

It is on my list to call today, but I wasn't sure how they felt about non-running cars. As it sits now, it may need to be towed in.

I am not too sure what you have around you, but some Public Storage places store cars. I was going to store a car at one a few years back and they said the registration and the insurance has to be current. Other than that, I had to pay the fees of the stall.

wow... Outdoor storage in CA is crazy! $135 a month for outdoors? Damn base housing! Makes me miss the old mans plot of land where I have had as many as 5 of my parts cars sitting next to about 5 of his, none visible from the road... I guess I will pass on the old Ferd. Thanks for the info guys.
