ok i took my car out yesterday to the exhaust shop, its right down the road form me and i didnt get a chance to notice if it was shifting into overdrive because it was a short trip in stop and go traffic at low speeds. after leaving the shop i decided to jump down the freeway to open her up a bit shes been sitting since late august, when at highway speeds motor seemed to be reving sorta high like its in the wrong gear. i took my foot and pulled up on the pedal and nothing, taped the breaks and no kickdown im sure it not going into overdrive. i had a problem before where it was slipping in and out of overdrive when on the highway but it seemed to clear itself up, what should i check or change ? cant really afford a rebuild at this point in time hoping this is something i can fix mysely. any help is appreciated, also if there is a member local who knows about transmissions who can come test drive it for me please get in touch with me. thanks
