Brett Favre will be back becuz he skipped the Pro Bowl, again!
Brett should retire with his attitude... He was chosen for the pro Bowl 9 times and showed up 5... What can of childish attitude is that... It is another day off from work until training camp... 1 SB ring, 3 time mvp, records and stats are the only thing left before retirement. The US and Wisconsin listen when he speaks, when you gonna retire, give me a break, he should join Howie and Terry on Fox or go hunting year round...
My favorite player is Donald Driver, he has love for the game and fans, I know him personally, becuz I have worked for him and his family until I had surgery Nov. 2007. Brett Favre leaves a bad taste and Al Harris did get burned many times. Burress actually said he can't stop me to the GB players and coaching staff... lol funny hahaha....
GB isn't the team of the 90's in Lambeau Field and cold weather shuts the packers down... Maybe Lambeau Field should add a dome. Playoffs are won by coaching (example throwing screen passes more than once and shut down at the line of scrimmage or behind it - play some Madden Football on Xbox, move the ball around). Players get you into the playoffs by winning the most games during the critical times. There was only one KEY play for the pack, DD # 80 TD and that was 2/3rds of their offense. Look at Denver in OT vs Da Bears (Home and Away). When Favre holds his head down and is down and out in 3, over and over, you can see by the end of the 1st Qtr who will win... (another example Atlanta Falcons kicked ass in GB in 2004 playoffs). Eli threw great passes, while Favre was wrapped up in a coat staying warm... Eli didn't even have that much clothing. Interceptions and fumbles in any game or playoff will most likely cause a loss for any football team, HS, College or NFL team. Just the facts.
My memory of the game --- I drove limousine for the NFC Championship game and my passengers were Archie Manning family, Peyton called and reserved it, but didn't go becuz he was afraid of jinxing Eli (throwing Interceptions)... In every game - there is a winner and loser, it is life. The funny thing, is it seems like most people have losing seasons if life were compared to football. The best part about it, was that there were only 2 cities with NFL Football and Green Bay and New England were the only teams. People must realize that the Green Bay Packers have a small market compared to the larger cities and the owner is not some BILLIONAIRE, (drove for the first 3 owners mentioned) like Daniel Snyder - Redskins, Woody Johnson - Jets, Paul Allen - Seahawks, Patriots owner Kraft, 11 NFL teams are owned by Billionaires... Even Justin Timberlake was at the game for the bears and the giants game in Green Bay... our limo company was called but had no drivers available, so we lost that job....
Paul Allen has a ship over 400 feet long (as long as Lambeau Field).... near Spain... and he always travels in a Lincoln Towncar Sedan, $40,000 car.

As for the BEST QB, don't even go there unless every damn variable is indentically the same, meaning players, coaches, conditions, and schedule. People like to see winners but when you win all the time, we want to see people lose. Just like owning a GN, people get jealous and steal our cars or smash it or whatever... Look at Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart when they were winning... Don't hate the player, hate the game of life when there is competition and spectators.
As for the NFL, I was born and raised near Green Bay and our school system in Wisconsin lives, eats and breathes football, maybe other NFL teams should follow it and then there would be a 25 year waiting list to become a season ticket holder, deep history with a winning background forces you to have a standard to follow...
BTW - I am going to the Pro Bowl and need ideas for what to do in Oahu. I have never been there... any ideas, My Dad and I are going Feb. 6 - 11, 08.
Some ideas i am looking at include Island Tour from the sky(Chopper, Plane, Glider), ATV tour, Luau, Arizona Memorial/Circle Island Tour, the beach relaxing, Sunday Pro Bowl...
