Painting my GN soon

Painting my 87 GN soon. I like to be different. I was thinking of the prototype look and was wondering if anyone else has seen or done it? I'll take any suggestions in consideration. Always liked dark or met. silver with flat black stripes but don't really think it fits the car.

I have never seen one done like that, you are talking about the red Molly one right? Not the 82 GN, which would also be cool, an 87 done with the 82 paint and decal work.

I personally don't think any g-body pulls red off well.

Yes, I really don't like red, but thought it would be different. With the black accents I really don't think the prototype looks bad at all. Hey I never liked these cars either until it was practically given to me.

I'm not really worried about the interior its caged, drag seats, ect., ect., ect.,. This car has been addicting and would like something a little different. If you were parked almong 100 GN's randomly how long would it take you to find yours? OK then lets say a 1000:smile:

hmmm I wouldn't do "flat back stripes" matter of fact I hate stripes on Buicks BUT to each their own

No thats what I was saying I will wait on that combo for the Nova. Just don't think it would look right on the GN

If you go red, you have to lose the chrome bumpers, a monochromatic red scheme could work.

No chrome here, Its an 87 GN. Sorry should have stated that earlier.
