Non TR related. I bought some parts from the local boneyard to repair the front of my truck. Can I paint over the existing paint. New parts are white and I need to paint them blue. Any prep work that needs to be done? I only need to paint the inside of the fenders and radiator support. I will have the exterior painted by a shop. Thanks!!

If the present paint is not cracked or checked, you can paint right over it. You must scuff it before you do.

yes you can paint over the existing refinish if it not cracking, crazing or chipping. i recomend that you decrease and sand it properly then seal the existing material for so the new paint will adhere properly
