Panel under dash on driver side

Well I went to the local u pick it yard and found a panel that goes under the dash and covers all the wiring and fuse box. Problem is I can't figure out for the life of me how it gets fastened into the lower dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated

that one appears broken, there is a tab that attaches to the firewall on the right side. You need it to keep it tight against the FW

That's right, there is supposed to a tab that goes over a stud on the gas pedal mount.
