After two visits to Test Only suffrage, I called Lou C. asking for his divine intervention. Now I'm up in Fresno, so this is a long distance relationship. While undergoing his cranky & witty guidance, after a few prods, grunts & tests he determined it was the EGR transducer & shipped me another (these are getting difficult to acquire). I made sure everything was copasetic & made a third appearance....PASS

I'm making a public appreciation for Lou's willingness, almost a need, to use his talents in the aid of his fellow GN addicts. I've offered several times to let him move into my garage, but he continues to gracefully (ha!) decline.

Did the transducer come with one of his famous engine stickers? When smog people see the sticker, they pass you immediately.

That's how failed first two tries....those damn stickers clogged everything up!

Lou was running a "Sticker Special" a while back.

WTF!?!?!? I want a sticker!!!! ;)

If you bought the sticker for a few thousand bucks, he threw in a racing engine for free.

That's how I got mine.;)

Happy spooling.

Wow, i feel lucky to get one of those desirable stickers for just an alchy install.

Yeah, Lou is great. He gave me some advice over the phone when i got stuck in Vegas (200 miles away from home) and the dealer couldn't figure out the problem.

No Ray I will not move into your garage it's already crowded. Glad you made it through smog. Next time study for the test before you go in. Besides building performance My previous shop did smog testing & I held a license for many years.

The sticker alone was worth a few seconds off my ET....the engine just looks good under the hood with it...kinda like icing on the cake.
